Day 15 Update

Half Way There

We are half way through the Kickstarter campaign to fund the 7th Edition of Battlelords of the 23rd Century roleplaying game. We are just about to hit two-thirds of our funding goal! Please help us keep up the momentum and spread the word about the campaign. Thanks to everyone who has supported us.

Shipping and Fulfillment

Having run a game company before I can tell you there is nothing as daunting as having a semi-truck pull up to your house with literally 8000 lbs of books. That’s right folks. If we do our minimum print run it will weigh approximately 4 tons. That’s short tons for everyone outside of the U.S. About 3600 kilograms. Fortunately for us, with the growth of the gaming industry, modernization of the shipping industry, and popularity of Kickstarter the are now a lot more fulfillment companies who will gladly store and ship our books for a fee.

We have selected several companies to assist us in this logistical endeavor. GamesQuest in the UK will be handling the storage and shipping of our books to all parties outside of North America. This will allow our customers in the EU to avoid any value-added-taxes (V.A.T.) because the books will be housed and distributed from the UK. We will be selecting a North American fulfillment house shortly. BackerKit will be assisting us with support, automation, and tracking.
